How we use your information

PhysioWorld by GuadaHealth keeps records of the people we treat. This tells you what we hold, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

Your name, your mobile number, and if you give one, your email address. Which doctor or therapist you saw, when, what you came in for, and whether you paid cash or through an HMO.

Why we collect it

To arrange your appointment, to keep your treatment history, and to bill your HMO where one is used. Health records count as sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act, which is the strictest protection the law gives.

Who can see it

The reception staff who book you in, and the doctor or therapist treating you. Doctors see only their own patients. Every time a record is opened or changed, the system logs who did it and when.

Where it is kept

On secure servers in Singapore. That is a transfer outside the Philippines, and we tell you because the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Seven years after your last consultation. If you booked and never came, twelve months. After that the record is disposed of.

What you can ask us to do

You may ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected if it is wrong, object to how it is used, or ask us to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it. Write to us at the address below and we will answer within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with how we answer, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
